"Il Gallo", simbolo ed emblema del Chianti Classico, opera di Fabio Zacchei, gioca la sua forza comunicativa sull'impianto visivo, 800 chili di ferro battuto. La struttura mantiene un equilibrio
compositivo ed eleganza determinata dallo studio attento delle proporzioni e dal movimento realizzato attraverso le 2000 penne che compongono l'impressionante struttura.
Un'opera che è entrata a far parte tra le prime della collezione artistica permanente del nostro Comune insieme a molte altre che arricchiscono il centro storico del paese.
Grazie all'evento "ProgettarTe" decine di sculture vengo installate e propongono un percorso che ogni anno si rinnova con una collezione temporanea da Giugno ad Ottobre.
Il Gallo oltre ad esserne diventato l'emblema, rivendica simbolicamente una delle peculiarità del Comune di Gaiole in Chianti. Il toponimo Chianti, infatti oggi rappresenta molte realtà.
Luogo nel quale si produce uno dei vini più conosciuti al mondo, territorio che si distingue per i suoi bellissimi panorami e scorci dove le tipiche colline coltivate con vigneti e
oliveti si alternano a boschi di quercia e castagno. I castelli, borghi e casali sono ulteriore testimonianza di una stratificazione umana millenaria.
Gaiole è uno dei Comuni del Chianti Storico cioè originariamente insieme a Castellina e Radda faceva parte della così detta
Lega e ancora oggi i tre comuni rappresentano la parte più autentica e suggestiva, il cuore del Chianti.

"The Rooster" notorious symbol and emblem of the Chiabti Classico region, created by Fabio Zacchei, has a strong communicative power based on its visual impact, 800 kg of iron.
The structure maintains elegance and compositional balance, as a results of careful study of proportions amd movements that are portrayedby 2000 plumage feathers that compose this very
impressive structure. This work as joined in the top the permanent collection of our town along with many others that enrich the historical centre of the village.
Thanks to the events "ProgettarTe" dozens of sculptures are installed and propose a course that is renewed everyyear with a temporary collection from June to October.
Th Rooster, as well as he has become the symbol, symbolically claims a positions as one of the peculiarities of the town of Gaiole in Chianti.
The name Chianti in reality represents in fact a lot. It is an area, where one of the most popular wines in the world is produced, a place that stands out for its breathtaking views,
where the hills are cultivated with vineyards and olive groves, alternating with oak and chestnut trees. Hamlets, castles and casali are further evidence of a millenary human stratification.
Gaiole is a part of the Historic Chianti and it was originally, with Radda and Castellina, part of the famous Lega that still represents the most authentic and charming part, the Heart of Chianti.The Mayor
